The Challenge
The site for the Wellness Center was a pie-shaped parcel facing a major road. There were only ten feet of clearance from the property lines, and the project needed to keep the historic two-story residence with a basement level intact.
The Result
We provided detailed coordination and daily scheduling to ensure site limitations wouldn’t affect our work or safety. Sheeting and shoring was designed to allow the concrete foundation to be excavated and placed. It also provided stability and safe passage for the neighboring office building’s entrance. Underpinning was installed to lower the foundation of the existing historic residence to align with that of the addition.
